As believers, our authority comes from our identity in Jesus Christ. We're righteous, forgiven, healed, and one with God. It's imperative that we know who we are; if not, we must renew our minds to our true identity. Operating in our identity as God's children gives us the same power and ability as Christ holds. Faith in this saves us from useless self-effort to do what's already done. Allowing God to change our thinking results in life-changing transformation in us.
