We continue our study of Genesis (picking up in with Genesis 37) with David Wheaton. Through the treachery of Joseph's brothers David shares how hatred and bitterness can compound hardness in our hearts; however God accomplishes His purposes with Joseph even if evil intends to derail the plans. Author and managing editor of desiringGod.org, Marshall Segal, joins us to discuss the grace of good rebuke. Difficult conversations with loved ones can be complex but when our end goal is restoration our words and posture will reflect God's love. With prayer as an alley, good rebuke is motivated by knowing the detriment of sin in someone's soul.
