The Stories Jesus Told | The Story of the Seeker | Joseph Aiken | Church of Whitestone
In this week’s message, “The Story of the Seeker,” Pastor Joseph Aiken walks us through Luke 15 overviewing the three connected parables—the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son—that all reveal a God who actively searches for what’s missing and celebrates when it’s found. The lost sheep and coin show that nothing is too insignificant or hidden for God’s pursuit, while the prodigal son shows a father running toward a broken son with restoration instead of rejection. In contrast, the older brother exposes how you can be in the house but still miss the heart of the Father, making the real question not whether God is seeking, but whether we’ll join the celebration of being found.
