48. Am I Trusting God or Myself? Releasing the Pressure of Raising Faithful Kids
Have you ever felt like your child’s faith depends completely on you?
As moms, many of us carry this quiet pressure—to get it right, to do enough, and to make sure our children’s faith lasts. We pray, we open Scripture, and we try to disciple faithfully. But underneath it all, there can still be this tension… am I truly trusting God with my children, or am I relying on myself more than I realize?
If you have ever felt that weight, you are not alone. And I’m really glad you are here. In this conversation, I’m sharing a personal moment where the Holy Spirit gently revealed something in my own heart—not in what I was saying, but in what I was actually relying on. While I believed I was fully trusting God, I realized I was still holding onto control.
Together, we walk through Psalm 37:3–7 and what it really means to trust God in a deeper, more surrendered way. We talk about trusting Him first, delighting in Him instead of striving, committing our children fully into His hands, and learning to be still as He works.
This is not about doing more as a mom.
It’s about releasing the weight you were never meant to carry and stepping into a more peaceful, relational trust with God in your everyday motherhood.
Blessings, ✨ Tricia
